Concentrate on the improvements that can
help sell a house, especially the kitchen,
bathrooms, roof and windows.
Paint
the front entrance and put a couple pots
of flowers by the door.
If
the rooms are even the slightest bit cluttered,
remove some furniture.
Clean
house thoroughly and keep windows / mirrors
clean.
Tighten
any loose knobs and faucets.
Make
sure the porch light & bells are working.
Just
before an agent shows your home:
Close
the garage door(s).
Put
away children's toys.
Turn
on all lights and open all curtains.
If
there is a smoker in the house, remove ashtrays
and other evidence of tobacco.
Use
an air freshener if the house doesn't already
smell fresh.
Turn
off appliances.
Have
soft music playing in the background.
A

showing.
